Replacement Eco Home

This project was for a London business owner who wanted to relocate to Leicestershire, and create a replacement eco home by replacing a tired dwelling on the existing site. With around 4 acres of land, and some existing agricultural sheds, JRA sought to replan the whole site and seek planning for a replacement dwelling.

The main feature of the site was an existing pond, and the proposed design was placed address this whilst preserving privacy to the rear with a sunken outside area allowing the kitchen to be lowered into the landscape to offer shelter from the wind. It also meant the roof terrace had spectacular view over the beautiful Leicestershire countryside.
